    Hi,

    I have a problem with Notepad++ on a laptop with more monitors connected. When I have opened Notepad++ on default display (monitor), everything is OK, but otherwise, I have the problem that during some “random” action in Notepad++, Notepad++ is automatically forced to move to default one. I haven’t been able to determinate, what “action” in Notepad++ cause this problem and I think it is random and frequent.

    Notepad++ is the best editor ever and I have been using it for many years, but this is VERY annoying. I hope so, that my description is understandable and I am sorry for my English.

    Thanks for the help.

    Jakub (James)

      @Jakub-Šenk

      actually I’m not aware of a function, within npp, that does allow moving the application to another monitor.
      I guess this may be related to your graphics card management software. Could it be
      that it provides some kind of functionality and has this assigned to a global hotkey?

      Cheers

        I am pretty sure that I didn’t press any key before Notepad++ force moving, I just used basic Logitech M185 mouse…

              @Claudia-Frank It occurs when I am working with Notepad++ for some time…Have you ever tried to use Notepad++ on a non-default monitor?

                  @Claudia-Frank

                  make sense. This problem I have only for a couple weeks and on Windows 7. And I think that I tried change mouse with completely different one (different producer…) and I had the same problem. I don’t really know what cause this issue and I am sad because of that. I haven’t a similar problem with any other software.

                  Thanks anyway.
