      Hello all!

      I installed NP++ 7.3.1 64 bit on a - 64 bit win 7 system.

      I installed several plugins by copying the dll’s to plugins sub folder.

      Non of them is loaded. I get “Cannot load 32-bit plugin” message when NP++ loads.

      What is wrong?

      With regards, Tal

        64-bit executables and 32-bit plugins are incompatible. This is a Notepad++ FAQ, omg is it a FAQ! :-D

        Solution: If you absolutely need to use the plugins, use the 32-bit executable. Otherwise, use 64-bit exe and wait for plugins to evolve to 64-bit.

          So, you mean that none of the plugins currently compatible with 64 bit??

            I didn’t mean to imply that…there are some that are 64-bit. But, obviously the ones you are trying are not.

              See https://github.com/bruderstein/nppPluginManager/issues/7 PM is not available in 64-bit yet, so you have to search manually if a 64bit version of the plugins you wan’t to use is available. See https://notepad-plus-plus.org/community/category/5/plugin-development for update announcements.
