Does Notepad++ works nicely with Windows 10 dual monitor setup? Mine is not.

I have a super high resolution laptop (qHD) and an external monitor (1280x1024). I used to be able to view sharp text on Notepad++ on Windows 7 (and normal HD laptop), but after migrating to Windows 10 with the qHD laptop, whatever you do you can’t get it sharp on both screen. I think it might be related to this: https://www.thurrott.com/windows/windows-10/83964/microsoft-may-never-fix-high-dpi-issues-windows-10 .
Is there any plan / known fix for this?
