      Recently I start having problem with a plain text files.
      When I edit some text:

      i. e. this is just a test
      i. e. new 1 this is just a test
      after hitting the enter key several times this is what I git

      new 1
      ( , 1 )
      ( 1 )
      1
      this is just a test

        @Donald-Bellefuil

        you need to be more specific what exactly you do.
        In addition, which npp version (debug-info) on which operating system do you use?

        Cheers
        Claudia

          I wonder if you have been experimenting with the shortcut mapper and disturbed the definition of the Enter key. Go into the Scintilla tab, and see what Enter is bound to - it should be bound to SCI_NEWLINE
