Hola Buena noche a todos…tengo inconveniente con el plugin de comparepara la version 7.3.3… por favro me podrian indicar como puedo usar esta herramienta en esta nueva versión…muchas gracias… saludos

same usage as it was before, just shortcuts changed as far as I remember.
Open compare plugins menu and press compare.

In my case (Win7x64-bit), since updating to v7.3.3, Compare Plugin takes several seconds to load results with big files (>8000 lines) and crashes with bigger files (>16000 lines): the screen goes black, with occasional white flashes, until Notepad++ is closed.

What is your Compare Plugin version?
Oh, I suppose it is 2.0 since you are using the 64-bit version.
Can you share here some example files to test?

My OS is 64bit but Notepad++ is 32bit. Compare Plugin version is 1.5.6.
I have been trying to reproduce the issue with other very big files but it only happens with a certain modified file. If I compare this file with itself it does it properly, but if I modify this file and compare, crashes. It is a .out file, don’t know if that matters though, because I changed the extension to .txt and the same happens. It seems it’s something related to that specific file. I’m afraid I can’t share it. Let’s hope it only happens with this file…

Hi, I’m trying to download Compare Plugin v2.0 64-bit but it has been impossible, as the download fails constantly. Is there any other site where it can be downloaded?

I don’t have a problem to download the 64bit zip file. What browser are you using?
Could you access the release page on github?
