CTRL+H in Windows 10

I’m using the 32bit 7.3.3 on both Windows 10 and Windows 7. It works fine on Windows 7, I can use ctrl+h to open find/replace window and then search for '> ’ (minus the 's) and replace with an empty string then click ‘Replace All’ to clear that pattern from a .txt document. On Windows 10 when I try the same thing, I get: Replace All: 0 occurrences were replaced. In both cases the Encode is UTF-8.
I really hate to have to keep a Windows 7 computer around just to run Notepad++. -
Just rolled back to version 6.9.2 on the Windows 10 computer and it works like it should. Did not test the versions in between yet.
