All open files are gone

Hello everyone!
I had around 25 files opened in n++ and now that I open it again, no file is automatically opened…
All files are in the default “Backup” directory and n++ is setup with the default options of reopening the previous session…I can restore recently closed files, but it does not load the backups but the existing file instead (I copied the backup directory before trying to be sure I wouldn’t lose anything)
How can I restore the last session using the existing backups when it stopped doing it automatically?
I don’t think I did anything special for it to stop working, maybe update n++…Regards,
