Notepad++ opening odd files

Notepad++ kept opening the change log, so I decided to delete the change log file.
Then it complained about the files ‘C:\Program’ and ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\updater\Files’ not existing everytime I started Notepad++, I then told it to create the files.
Now it just opens those two files every time I start Notepad++…anyone know why this is happening and/or how I can fix it?

Thanks @AngryGamer I can stand to use Notepad++ once again :D
