I would like to download Compare plugin but my company will not allow me to go to either CNET or Sourceforge. Is there another way to get it?

These two sites have multiple security issues.

@Nancy-Johnson Here’s one way to do it: Download the Plugin Manager from this download link. Install by copying files to appropriate folders in your Notepad++ program directory (for example, C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++). See Installation section just above download link for more detail.

Then start Notepad++ and run the Plugin Manager (Plugins -> Plugin Manager -> Show Plugin Manager) and install the Compare plugin from there. I believe it pulls from https://github.com/jsleroy/compare-plugin. You could also build or download it directly from GitHub, but despite the 2-step process, the above process seemed easier.

          Hello @Nancy-Johnson ,

You can get the latest officially released Compare Plugin version from https://github.com/pnedev/compare-plugin/releases/tag/v2.0.0.
This is also where Plugin Manager will get it from.
