Inserting and image

i type in <img src=" ____.jpg"> and i put the name of the file on the computer but when i launch the website on google chrome it will not appear for some reason. Please help!

That’s not a Notepad++ question, rather this is web programming related.
Anyway, wherever your index.html resides on your computer for testing, add an image folder into that folder.
Name it, say “img” and place your image in that folder.
You now have a structure like this:
index.html
img/imageName.jpg

Now in your image source path, you change it thus:
<img src=“/img/imageName.jpg”>
