Failure retrieving contents of directory /

Hello, I have an issue opening the directory when I use FTP. It shows up as just a folder titled “/” and when I double click it to open it, the window responds:
“[Queue] The operation was already added to the queue, ignoring”
Yet the queue is empty. Notepad doesn’t do anything else after that, and any subsequent attempts to open the directory yield the same response.
Then, after several minutes, I receive the message:
“Failure retrieving contents of directory /”
Any help would be great, thanks!
