PDU file conversion to usable english document

I have PDU text files (from my windows phone) whicn I need to convert to a useful format like MS Word or MS Text or PDF or anything that allows me to print out the text messages.
I have downloaded Notepad++ hoping the program can help me.
Can anyone explain how I do this? I have the Text PDU files on my laptop (extracted from the Windows phone).
