Do you have one or several large files opened in Notepad++?

I open the file not more than 10mb, several copies(3 to 10)

Memory usage seems excessive to me too. Does it drop down to about 20MB with no file open?
I use 32bit NPP. -

I use 32bit NPP.I use notepad++ 7.5.1 x64. After closing the file, the memory remains absorbed

What happens if you close NPP and move all the plugins to the disabled folder in C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins and then start it?
