Notepad not keeping text of unsaved tab, like before.

Hi,
Notepad is not keeping text of unsaved tab, like before; when restarting or shutting down PC.
This is supper useful and crucial to what i do.I did a fresh install on Notepad++ but same thing happens!
Is this from my side or you confirm it does indeed happen? Intentional ( if so, why?), or unintentional?

Check if in Preferences/Backup these are enabled:- Remember current session for next launch
- Enable session snapshot and periodic backup

It was before and i haven’t un-ticked it. No idea how it got un-ticked.
Anyway, thanks a lot for this. I really needed it sorted.
