Is there a way to make notepad to open new instance when “new” under file>new is clicked
i don’t prefer to use keyboard shortcuts
asNotepad.xml and multiinstance is enabled.

afaik not and doesn’t that mean it is the same as just open another npp instance?
Isn’t it quicker to click on the npp shortcut instead of clicking file->new?Cheers
