    Load langs.xml, stylers.xml failed

      Hello,
      when starting Notepad++ i get this error messages
      Load langs.xml failed, load stylers.xml failed
      what is missing here?

        Seriously, though, they need to be present either in the same folder as Notepad++.exe if you are running a portable install (which I recommend because not many advantages to not doing this), or maybe in the appropriate C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++ folder (see the %APPDATA% environment variable setting)…not sure about this second part because of the way I run.

        However, something seems critically wrong for you; not sure how you got in that state. If you run from the “installed” version, try reinstalling? What version are you running, BTW?

          i re-installed Notepad++ using the 64Bit Installer and it works perfect
