    When I close the tab for close notepad++ ,

    I meet the "access violation " popup message.

    Is This a Bug?

      @YOUNG-JEAN-BAEK

      access violation doesn’t sound healthy but hard to tell if npp or maybe a plugin is responsible.
      On my npp 7.5.3 I do not get the access violation popup message but it might be related
      to your setup and/or configuration.

      Does this happen always?
      If so, can you explain in detail what you are doing?
      Can you post the debug-info?

      Cheers
      Claudia

        Admin mode : OFF
        Local Conf mode : OFF
        OS : Windows 10 (64-bit)

          @Suttichort-Sarathum

          do you see any coincidence like it happens when having a lot of files open,
          or when editing xml or … ?

          And when you see the access violation, does it offer to create a dump
          or shows additional info?

          Cheers
          Claudia

            I got the same problem with version 7.5.2, and version 7.5.3. I think it is due to setup/config file. If you download the 7 zip file, unzip and open the exe file, you don’t have the pop up error.

              @Atkins-Nguyen

              Thx, oh ok, I’m always using the zipped packages, that could explain why I don’t see it.
              I will give it a try to install it, albeit I think running under wine could lead to different results. Let’s see.

              Cheers

                @Atkins-Nguyen There is a problem with the packaged dspellplugin version 1.3.2 (newly readded with n++ 7.5.2) , which might cause the issue. Could you update to https://github.com/Predelnik/DSpellCheck/releases/tag/v1.3.3 and check if the issue is fixed

                  I have the access violation message when I open/close a file. Also when I open and close the app (even with no files loaded). I upgraded DSpellCheck to 1.3.3 and have the same problem.

                    @Terry-Wysocki,

                    Please provide more details.

                    Is it any file, or just particular ones; if just particular files, what’s different about those files (location, permissions, etc); does it always happen with the particular files, or just sometimes? What version of Notepad++ are you using (? > Debug Info > Copy debug information to clipboard, paste it in your response)?
