Faulty coding of file if reloaded

if I load a file into npp and converts the coding from utf-8 to ansi, the replace the file in background with another one of the same name in utf-8, so npp tells me there are changes and ask me to update the file in npp.
if I say yes, the new content of the file will be loaded, but at the menu the coding ansi is selected, but its utf-8 coding.
please check this at your instance and is it really a bug, please fix it.
