Override existing keyboard macros
Frank Clarke last edited by
Just installed the new version of npp and all my existing keyboard macros went away. When I try to re-establish them, I get the message “Conflict Found”; that is: there is already a macro with that keystroke-configuration.
Most of those keystroke configurations are of no use to me and I’d like to override them and use my own. Example: I want to insert a " " into HTML text with a Ctrl-Shift-Spacebar.
How can I do this?

Apply the shortcut you want to the feature you want. Then go to the conflicting function, and either change or delete its shortcut.
