When a close a tab the next in focus tab is the tab at right (or left if we are closing the last tab).

Is it possible to configure Notepad++ to focus on previous focused tab?

As we can easily go the last focused tab with a short Ctrl-Tab press (and all the previous focused tab history with a long Ctrl-Tab press) I got surprised as I couldn’t find such an option browsing all configuration options.

    Thanks in advance,
    Luis Santos

      AFAIK, not currently.

…can easily go the last focused tab with a short Ctrl-Tab press…

I presume you have Enable MRU behavior ticked in Settings (menu) -> Preferences… -> MISC. (box on left) -> Document Switcher (Ctrl+TAB). In case the reader doesn’t know, “MRU” stands for Most Recently Used.

Is it possible to open a feature request or something similar?

Yes. This feature is so useful and important to me that I didn’t figure out it is not the default. I have switched it on years ago.
