When I have a file saved as example3.html, then I try to save it again after making some changes, it doesn’t allow it, it displays an error ‘the file is already opened in the notepad++’. How can I get around this error? I want to be able to just hit saveAs and save the file again without needing to change the file name each time, which is what I’ve been doing.

To clarify, when I change the file name I can save it again, the issue occurs when I keep the same file name and try to save it again with that name.

Dude, why are you doing SaveAs after you’ve given a file a name the first time? Just do Save !
