      Hello,

      I would like to redistribute Notepad++ minimal version binaries in accordance with the required LGPL2. I have only found the source code to the master/main version. Is there somewhere I could find or some way I could obtain the source code so that I could distribute that with the minimal version binaries?

      Best Regards,
      Juha

        The source code is the same. It’s all about the “packaging”.

        The Notepad++ download website even refers to it this way, example:
        Notepad++ minimalist package 32-bit x86

        Here’s a file compare to prove this out, notice the Notepad++.exe, and other core stuff is the same (black color=same, purple color=orphans on one side):

          Thank you so much for your help. I thought the minimalist version has some parts of the source code stripped away and not compiled into the binaries, I should have investigated that more closely.

          Thank you again for you fast and clear response, have a great day.
