      Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to disable Plugin updates. From the Plugin Manager settings, there is a “Check for plugin updates every x days”, but nothing that says don’t check for updates. Is there a file, or registry settings, or some way to do this? Appreciate some help. Thanks.

I’m not 100% sure but I suspect if you untick the checkbox for Notify of plugin updates at startup (right above the control you mentioned), it won’t ever check for updates (…why check if you aren’t going to notify?).

I think you may be right, Scott. It certainly implies that. Wish it also grey out “Check for plugin updates every x days”, but is doesn’t so it leaves room for some uncertainty whether updates check is really still happening…

You could add an issue at https://github.com/bruderstein/nppPluginManager/issues for that improvement.

Maybe this discussion is a moot point…aren’t we supposed to get a brand-spanking-new plug-in manager soon? (that may implement this update notification thing altogether differently)
I guess the definition of “soon” is up for some debate…
                :-D

I suppose so but if I was author of existing PM how much enthusiasm would I have for that, knowing that my great plugin is future-deprecated… :-(
