    Show active text file's modification date in footer area.

      Would anyone else like to see the active text file’s modification date in the bottom-right area of the window’s footer? I feel like this would be nice. I leave text files open for a long time and this would tell me when I last edited one.

        this other thread in the forum described how to accomplish this task using the PythonScript plugin.
