Show active text file's modification date in footer area.

Would anyone else like to see the active text file’s modification date in the bottom-right area of the window’s footer? I feel like this would be nice. I leave text files open for a long time and this would tell me when I last edited one.

Thank you. Seems harder than I can handle at the moment. I’ll dig into it again at a future date.
