Alt-S crashes 7.5.8 going into Compare window

I accidentally use “ALT-S” which is a save keyboard shortcut to another software, and when I do that in N++, I get a Compare window, then a crash. File was unsaved, and solo tab.
Using N++/32 on W10/64.
Once saved, Alt-S compares the file to itself and says “Files match”.
I have compare plugin 1.5.6.2, this might be within that module? I will cross-post for now.
FYI to all of the rest of you who use this. -
Your compare plugin is quite old. Why don’t you update to the current version and try again?

I don’t use the Compare plugin so I’m probably not the best person to answer, but PluginManager should have the latest…? Otherwise, I found this…
