      I am trying to create and run a macro which moves to the next line of the text file and puts a #
      on that line.

      In the macro I press down arrow then home and then # and save marcro.

      This works for full lines but on indented lines home sets the cursor at the indent

      Is there a way of navigating to the beginning of the next line i.e. character 1

      thanks

        @Allan-Biggs

        Try pressing Alt+Home in your macro where you are pressing Home.
