Code Snippet Plugin

I am looking for a plug-in to include code snippets in my file. I tried Snippets but it crashes Notepad++, so I had to remove it. I also tried Snippet Plus but the editor to add/modify snippets does not work at all. Any reliable plugin available for snippets?

Is the observed crash of Snippets the known one https://github.com/ffes/nppsnippets/issues/14 ? Or a new one for which you might create an new issue to get it fixed.
