      Hi,

I am using ‘Find in files’ option to find a key word from a folder . I get the result which when i expand does contain all the details . I want to copy only the heading of the search result not the contents under it. The details in the result set differs as it find matching result from the sub folders as well.

      The result will be
      -----Heading1
      —Line 68: and.xyz

      -----Heading2
      —Line 69: fgh.123

So the details will different in each line , is there a way to get only the heading of the result set with out the details under.

I am doing ot manually. Need urgent help.

      Thanks,
      George

        @George-karithanam

        You say

I want to copy only the heading of the search result

        But then in your

        The result will be

section you show the heading AND the “details under”.

I think you’d better clarify your request before anyone attempts to help you.

        Maybe there’s a hint here:

it find matching result from the sub folders as well

If you are merely trying to exclude subfolder results, you should untick the In all sub-folders checkbox before you do a Find in Files.
