Keep unsaved tabs open between sessions

I had a different laptop a few months ago. I had Notepad++ set to keep my unsaved tabs open until I manually closed them. I cannot get this newer laptop to do it though.
I thought checking the Remember current session for next launch box might do the trick, but apparently not.
