    Multiple view 'separator line' - Remember position upon exit

      I would like to know if the following is possible, and I haven’t been able to find an answer by searching on Google and these forums.

      Currently you can work with 2 views in Notepad++, so you can have two documents in view at once. The ‘separator line’ between the two views is set for the middle of the Notepad++ window on launch, so that both views get a 50/50 share of the main window. Is there a way to save the separator position upon exit? I usually work in the same documents with a +/- 75/25 view (left/right). At the moment I adjust it manually each day when I start work, but it would be nice to be able to open notepad++ and have the last layout right away.

        good morning and welcome to the notepad++ community.

        currently there’s no built in setting to divide both view sizes to a specific ratio at startup (like 75% left and 25% right)
        but i remember some accomplishing this with a macro or plugin script that runs on startup, but i can’t find the solution right now. you’ll probably get an answer as soon as someone who knows how has a bit of time.
