what is meant by "The handle is invalid" while copying files?

After installing 7.6.2 64bit today on w8.1-64, I copies my data backup to programfiles, programdata and users folders.
however while copying to programdata folder, TeraCopy threw this message.
screenshotit was only for these 3, and all the other files got duly moved to 3 folder/ subfolders.
I am absolutely unable to understand what is meant by “The handle is invalid” while copying files? Any clue?

was notepad++ running when you tried to copy your plugins folder with teracopy ?

if no: were you able to copy them using windows explorer ?
