      Hello!

I use Notepad++ only as a better alternative to Windows Notepad, I’m not a programmer.

Notepad++ worked fine for me in Windows 7, I now moved to Windows 10 and installed a new version of Notepad++. It’s still just as great for me but now it shows some lines with dots that weren’t shown before (please check the link for a screenshot - the dots in the first-empty line):

How can I remove those? I don’t want them and I can’t find a setting to do it.

      Thank you!

I assume you mean the vertical dotted grey lines. Those are the indent indicators. You can toggle that setting using View > Show Symbol > Show Indent Guide
