Wrong encoding?

That is really strange.
I can’t open some files in script in Notepad++.If I try open with usual Notepad, save file, and then open in Notepad++… all okay.
What is wrong? What to do?By the way, I can’t encode normally 99… file. Can you help me, please? Thank you so much.

please try the following steps:
go to the notepad++ menusettings > preferences > misc.and disableautodetect character encodingas seen at the screenshot below.
then go to
settings > preferences > new documentand setencodingto your prefered encoding.
(in this example i’ve used “utf-8” and “apply to opened ansi files” as my default)
then close all documents that are wrongly displayed, restart notepad++, and reopen all your problematic files.
if this does not solve your problem opening some files, please go to the menu
? > debug info > copy debug info into clipboardand paste it here.By the way, I can’t encode normally 99… file. Can you help me, please? Thank you so much.

It’s like a compiled script, and the coding has nothing to do with it.
