Wrong encoding?

That is really strange.
I can’t open some files in script in Notepad++.

If I try open with usual Notepad, save file, and then open in Notepad++… all okay.
What is wrong? What to do?

By the way, I can’t encode normally 99… file. Can you help me, please? Thank you so much.

please try the following steps:
go to the notepad++ menu settings > preferences > misc. and disable autodetect character encoding as seen at the screenshot below.

then go to settings > preferences > new document and set encoding to your prefered encoding.
(in this example i’ve used “utf-8” and “apply to opened ansi files” as my default)

then close all documents that are wrongly displayed, restart notepad++, and reopen all your problematic files.

if this does not solve your problem opening some files, please go to the menu ? > debug info > copy debug info into clipboard and paste it here.

i am also unable to correctly determine the file encoding of your file 99マップアイテム入手イベント.ks.
it will open strangely on all editors i have on mac, ubuntu and windows.
