    Hello everyone

Is there a way with Notepad++ to keep the word research highlights active after deleting one highlighted occurence of this word (I mean if I highlighted 100 times the word “tomato” will I still see the 99 other highlights “tomato” if I delete 1 “tomato” word) ?

If this is possible how could I do that please ?

    Thank you for your help.

    Ben

salut and welcome to the notepad++ community, @Finelarme-Discovery

if you want to mark (highlight) all occurrences of a word or phrase, and would like to be able to delete one instance of it, and all other instances of the same word or phrase will still stay marked (highlighted):

      • go to the notepad++ menu search > mark... (recherche > marquer...)
      • enter your desired word or phrase in the find what field (recherche) and press mark all (rechercher tout).
      • now you can delete any finding of your word or phrase, and the others will still stay marked (highlighted).
