          Thanks.

I checked available, but did not have to install it again. I guess it was disabled as part of the version upgrade.

          Much appreciated.

                Hi,

I now see spell check is not working with UPPER CASE terms. I have tested this with both lower case and UPPER CASE words.

Does the spelling plugin also check UPPER CASE terms?

                Thanks,
                -SHD

@Meta-Chuh , should I post a new discussion thread on this matter?

Have a look at the settings dialog of DSpellCheck, especially to the Ignore Words options. You can find them under (menu) Plugins -> DSpellCheck -> Settings... -> (register) Advanced -> (group box) Ignore Words. Ensure that option All Letters Capital is unchecked.

                        Good Morning,

I upgraded Notepad++ today. The spell check is not working automatically anymore. I click the button to Spell Check Documents Automatically to turn spell checking off and on, and the misspelled words are indeed found. I also use the /menu/Plugins/DSpellCheck/Find Next Misspelling and the misspelled words are indeed found. However, the misspelled words are not found as I am typing.

What do I need to do to enable the misspelled words to be discovered as I type, please?

                        Thanks,
                        -SHD

@shdawson Manually update the new version of the plugin:

Hi, question about DSpellCheck. Is there a way to run spell check so one is presented with a replace option such as F7 in MS Word?

I take it there is no way to run spell check in this manner. Do I hold the correct understanding?

Don’t know - I’m not using MS Word so I can’t say for sure what it is providing.
I would guess if you can add a screenshot or a more detailed description what you
want to have then one who uses DSpellCheck might be able to answer more easily.

Btw. a screenshot must be uploaded to an hoster like imgur … and embedded here using

I believe the poster is after a replace-on-misspelled word function.

Think about Notepad++'s Replace button functionality, but where the Find what is the next sqiggly-underlined misspelled word. :)
