UDL of the build-in XML Syntaxis?

I want to make a variant on the build-in XML syntax by creating my own UDL. Can I import a UDL file from the regular XML syntax? The wiki pages regarding this topic (http://docs.notepad-plus-plus.org/index.php/User_Defined_Language_Files) are still off-line, no help from there …
