Notepad++ 7.8 crashes

a user of mine has a problem with crashing notepad++ 7.8
Here is the eventlog error:

This plugin seems to be the problem, removing it might help.

And how can it be removed if the user can’t start the application?

Rename the DLL so that it doesn’t have a .dll extension.
