I get this error on Windows Server 2008 R2:
Save failed
The file cannot save saved and it may be protected.
Do you want to launch Notepad++ in Administrator mode?I click Yes, try to save the file. I’m not sure if the file is saved OK at this point, but when I close the file, it asks me to save it again. I do.
When I re-open the file, it shows as saved.
So, I am not sure where the save is occurring, but it is getting saved.
