When I start NP++ I often do so with the “-nxxx” switch which opens the file and positions the highlight to line number “xxx”. However it doesnt position (scroll) the file so that the highlighted line is visible.
I seem to remember that this used to work, but my memory may be faulty.
Is there a way to scroll the screen automatically on file open so that the highlighted line is visible ???
      TIA
      Dave

@David-Slipper - I’ve done a bit more investigation and it works on one machine under Win7 32 bit but not Win7 64 bit !!
Both machines are running the same version (v7.8.5) and have the same settings – the only difference is that one is the 64bit version and the other the 32bit version.
Is this a bug or am I missing something ??

I think I remember a bug report that if Word Wrap is enabled it won’t do it. Maybe you have Word Wrap turned on on one machine and not the other?

Probably not, until the bug is fixed.

            That is exactly the case.

It is associated with Word Wrap.

I dont often use word wrap, but it seems I have recently and that is the cause,

            Thanks
