hi there im trying to figure if this will help me figure out any problems on an ark server im trying to sort out but i cant figure out where the xml validater is does anyone know

If you mean the XML Tools plugin, have you checked the Plugins Admin… on the Plugins menu?

Try adding the XML Tools from Plugins Admin (Plugins => Plugins Admin…).

Once installed, Plugins => XML Tools has lots of options to look at including “Check XML Syntax now”, “Validate Now” …
