Annoying behavior (BUG?)

If I press [Alt] + [F] - then File menu is opened, if I press [Alt] + [E] - edit menu is opened.
But when I press [Alt] + [S] - instead of opening Search menu notepad++ screen is spited. (“Compare to last save” menu option is triggered)
And I need to do a lot of clicks to undo “Compare”.
When I press [Alt] key - “S” character in “Search” menu item become underlined, so I expect pressing [S] to open Search menu.
