Peace, mercy and blessings of God Almighty

How are you all, ask God Almighty, that you are fine

After the last update of the program 7.8.7, I noticed that there is a very slow use of the arrows when moving the code page

Example of issue with comparison with version 7.8.6: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSQYGIayx70

So what is the problem here? It was fast before updating!

      Thank you

I wish you all the best too.

Does this happen for all files or only for certain ones?
Can you post your debug info, which is available in the ? menu?

I am having the same problem.
This happens with large files, like 2-10MB size.

Any kind of screen scrolling done with keyboard, arrows, pgup, pgdn will lead to long pauses after just several clicks.

          No issues with mouse scroll.

Eventually, I downgraded to 7.8.6, since 7.8.7 made Notepad++ unusable for me.

Yes, I downgrade to 7.8.6, and the bug has already been fixed

Therefore, the developer is waiting for this error to be fixed in the next release

                Maybe 7.8.8?

                  Thank you for your response

And I apologize for the delay in responding

In large files, I have not tried small files

But the comment of the honorable brother above, clarifies the problem

                  Thanks again
