NP++ 7.8.8 - pt-br - issue when try tiping "í" and "é"

I upgraded to 7.8.8 yesterday and realized that I can no longer type the characters “í” among others. “á”, “ú”, “ó” are ok.
I typed “í” normally in the notepad.
I downgraded to 7.8.7 and returned to normal, so now I can type accented characters like “í” now
