What happened to Hyperlink?

In the good 'ol days (a few hours ago) pasting a hyperlink:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8k2NGWrKbj4

it would then turn blue and underlined and be clickable.
As long as the text had no spaces, whaen added to it (pre or post)

#hardops-985 (this would now become the hyperlink)

then the link removed, the Title would inherit the hyperlink qualities. blue and underlined and be clickable.
Just because it was touching the hyperlink.
anyway to get back to Ye Olde way of hyperlinks?
