      I’m trying to press ‘Shift+Enter’ to find the previous result on the page, but it’s not working. I don’t think I’m overriding that key combination, so IDK why it wouldn’t work. Is that still the right key combination?

        @Nathan-Wailes

        If your Search Mode is Regular Expression, it isn’t going to work, as backward searching for this has been (mostly) disabled due to unexpected results in certain cases.

        I think the goal might have been to stop people from reporting issues when a strange result was obtained. Seems to have had the opposite effect as more issues are reported about it not doing anything (like yours).

          @Nathan-Wailes ,

          To re-enable backwards regex, see the official docs at https://npp-user-manual.org/docs/preferences/#preferences-for-advanced-users

          more issues are reported

          As I’ve said before, sometimes change is “implemented to make the majority more happy, which had the side effect of making the minority more unhappy.” – except, in this case, I’m wondering if the change wasn’t for the minority, making the majority unhappy. :-)
