      Hi, when updating the code outside of npp, it will say: update the file or discard and leave the code unchanged\unupdated.

      I don’t know what problem, if you change the positive button to [ctrl+a ctrl+x from the new file] to [ctrl+v with the old one] (it’s just way of explaying or nowadays crunch), so you will can undo the changes if you want

      the problem is that changes are overwritten after updating file and it’s suck (rly big issue)

        Npp informs you that you will loose the changes if you reload the file.
        Sorry, but I don’t see any issue.

          may it be affected by menue-settings-preferences-misc-file status auto detection ?
