      Is it possible to change the session.xml location to a different path? I want to relocate it to a home drive on my network and would like to do this for all our users? Maybe via a registry key? The Cloud Location option only moved config files and not session.xml.

        @James-Sabia ,

        I just ran some experiments with v7.8.9: you are right, most of the config files do move to the cloud folder, but the session.xml stays in %AppData%\Notepad++. I tried moving it manually from AppData to the cloud folder, and it just ignored the one in the cloud folder and created a new session.xml in the AppData. Personally, I would expect the session.xml to follow the cloud setting, just like config.xml, and am surprised it does not.

        I just checked the existing issues: #5317 appears to highlight a similar issue. If I were you, I would comment on that request, saying that with v7.8.9 (or whatever version you are using), session.xml also does not follow the cloud setting, and that you would like it to.

          I wasn’t you, but I decided I would comment. However, the more people who comment, thumbs-up, and and keep an issue active, the more attention it might get.

            Thanks for the response. Do we know if the expected behavior is to store the session.xml file in the cloud location or not?

              Based upon the comment here (at link below), I’d expect not, but who believes comments in code? :-)
