Prevent sending dump report when NP++ crashes?

I read somewhere that NP++ sends automatically a crash report/dump to NP++ home server/devs when it crashes.
Is this true?
Is killing NP++ with “taskkill” command a crash which produces a report?
Is there a way to prevent the sending of such a dump?
