      @Adeeb-Khair ,

      You do it the same way you would compile from the Windows cmd.exe command line – except use the variable-name notation from the online docs to get the current filename.

      For example, if the command line to use your compiler were c:\path\modelsim.exe "filename.source", then you could go Run > Run, and type in c:\path\modelsim.exe "$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)"; if you click Save…, you can save that command into the Run menu, and even give it a keyboard shortcut if you so desire.

      If your command line environment needs environment variables set up, or needs more than one command (like a compile stage then a link stage), I recommend using a plugin like NppExec, where you can define something similar to a windows batch file, but still have access to those variables mentioned earlier.
