    So I downloaded the speech plugin source code and put it in a new project. It compiles and runs fine on 64 bit. Since its been abandoned can we update it or something? I don’t really want to take over the project but it’s kind of dead and kind of useful still.

      @Curtis-Jones

      I did the same a while back. I too am not interested in taking over the project - I was just able to get it to compile - don’t know the first thing about the M$ Text-to-Speech API.

      I did create a GitHub release which can be pulled into the nppPluginList project.

      Cheers.

        It should still be easy to have tts capabilities within Notepad++. It really is one of the things that makes it a good choice for uninhibited text manipulation. I love writing in F12 mode without any interface. Then going back and listening to what I wrote. It is so helpful for me in my process.

          It looks like the speech plugin is now working in the latest version.
